Yesterday was one of the happiest days of my mom. Actually, this post is supposed to be published yesterday but for some reason I didn’t write anything about her.

Well, to say something about my mom, she is so wonderful. Even though, she is strict, we respect her well. If its not because of her, I don’t know where I am now. I couldn’t forget the things that she has done to me specially those times that I was really in trouble and I was so down.

To you Mom, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, I wish you all the best that life can give.

This past few days, my cousin from General Santos City paid a visit us here in Davao together with her fiancée’. They stayed here for 2 nights and 3 days to talked to our Uncle who will be their Ninong on their upcoming wedding. Originally they’re planned was only 1 day, but because of us, they stayed more days. My explanation was simply I can’t be there on the big day so why not hangout with us for the last remaining single days.

This cousin of mine, (here name is Sweet while her fiancée is Heart) we’re not really closed. She’s a year younger than me. There were lots of time, when I pasT by on Aunt Feyma and Uncle Bob’s wedding photo, I laugh at myself. I couldn’t imagine 18 years ago, we were one of the flower girls of the wedding and now Uncle Bob is one of their Ninong. Ha hay.. time flies so fast.

Of all the 5 flower girls during those wedding (we are all cousins by the way), only me and the elder sister of Sweet are single, although  Love (Sweet sister’s name) had a boyfriend already. The other one had a baby already and the other one is a month away before she will give birth. So imagine, I am the only one left. But actually, i’m not competing with them. There are a lot of things to be considered, though.

So the night before our cousin leaving, we went to the park, chatting and taking picture. I also took  a video of the place, it’s quite pretty good. Maybe I will upload it in the next couple of days.

As I write this article, it’s 5 days left before the big day. Just wanna say ‘CONGRATULATIONS and BEST WISHES’

This is not an advertise neither promoting the place.

I was passing this road every time I went to NCCC Mall (Ma-a Road, Davao City). One thing that would catched my attention was this place called La Vida Inn. I think because of the quote that was written on it ‘Life starts with La Vida…’. Yes, indeed life starts in this place. La Vida Inn is a place for short time happiness for two people. The rate is quiet affordable and I don’t know the quality of the place for I haven’t get a chance to see it for myself inside. The mode of payment is per hour. You can extend up to how many hours if you want.

Mostly the customers who check-in in this place are those who have forbidden love.

It is not unknown that me and my sisters we’re not very closed due to our aged gap and also I lived away from them after high school. It is not also unknown to my other relatives why I’m aloof to the other relatives.

When I was young I didn’t indulged my time hanging around with somebody or with my relatives. My family was quiet strict which I appreciated most. I do mostly chat my friends or even relatives during our school hours. They do understand me without even asking because they saw it how my parents brought up us.

My Father is a responsible man, he really worked and find ways to support our basic needs. My mother is so tight when it comes to budgeting. She make sure that every thing’s okay.

When my two younger sisters grown up I don’t have an eye with them. The way our parents brought me up was quiet different. Before, after school I directly went to the farm (which was aobut 30 minutes walked away from our house) to picked up Bebe (she’s young then) and also my other brother. When we get home I used to cooked rice for our dinner. In the morning, before I’ll prepare myself for school I see to it that my pet (which was goat) have plenty of food or else my mama would scolded me. I used to be responsible at the young aged.

Now that were both grown up there still lots of things that we need to work out. As a matter of fact if we both didn’t agree on the certain things we leave it behind and go on.

As i’ve said, everybody needs a little time, don’t you think?

Today is not a busy day for us. So here I am gathering some ideas on what to write.

I used to watched outside from our window every time I sit infront of my computer. As this morning I looked up outside and it seems that it will rain again. This past few weeks it’s been raining and the problem is the flood. It’s so hassle when you would plan to go somewhere or pick up something. The traffic and also the it’s hard to find a taxi.

But you know what, I love rain. It’s so refreshing after. You can see that the leaves of the flowers, weeds or tree will be greener again. Way back in my years in our farm, we used to plant our corn or some other crops during this season. So by August it’s harvest time. There were times that I am thinking my life before in the farm, it’s quiet and peaceful. But I really need to explore for I choose this path.

As I am writing this I also listen to the music of Cascade, Rhythm of the Rain. I liked their music, it’s soothing in the ears and also the meaning of it. I can’t relate the meaning of this song in real life, perhaps in the future.

I added the video, hope you like as I do.
